The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

I dug the Ya Mar opener, but didnt know the song. Sample and GTBT are the only tunes I knew, and the latter really got me pumped, being a big Zeppelin fan in high school and college.
Second set got really dark, sitting behind the stage was an experience but i got to see the majesty of Kuroda this night. The Mike's Song was insane and I kept looking around, wondering where this 'Dude' was. Listening to it again, it is the most rocking Mike's Song I have ever heard, and I love it. Every minute of this show is worth a listen. Set 2 is hot as hell.
A hometown show is a great way to start a life of Phish. I'm glad my friend Mike gave me a ticket for this show. 100 shows later, I'm looking back only with a smile.
